PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The anticipation continues to build at the Oregon Zoo, as workers gear up for the arrival of a brand new elephant.
Rose Tu is heading into her 21st month of pregnancy. Workers at the zoo have started an informal pool to guess the arrival date. Now, they want the public to join in.
The zoo has launched a Facebook guessing contest. Whoever guesses closest to the actual date and time of the birth gets to be the first in line at the calf's public debut.
If you're interested in taking a guess head to the zoo's Facebook Page and click on the "Due Date Poll" to cast your vote. The poll closes on Nov. 7.
