FAIRWAY, KS (KCTV) -
Would you live in a haunted house?
Abraham Lincoln is suppose to roam the White House while dead English queens allegedly stroll the grounds at the Tower of London. But what about Aunt Minnie clattering your cooper pots? Or the previous owner's ghostly self opening and closing the medicine cabinet or moving your coffee mug.
A survey from Realtor.com shows nearly 30 percent of people would buy a house that is said to be haunted, but there's a big catch.
They say they would want a big discount in price, like 20 percent or more less than an otherwise normal house.
For a small minority, about 2 percent, they say their home would be worth more if haunted.
Of the approximately 1,900 people polled, 35 percent said that they would not consider purchasing a home which was said to be haunted.
Of the people who would consider it, 32 percent said yes, and 33 percent said they might.
About half of Americans say they believe in ghosts.
