Police seek gunman in city's latest homicide near 35th, Agnes

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police are searching for the gunman who killed a man Sunday night.

Officers found a man in his 20s lying on a sidewalk about 9 p.m. at 35th Street and Agnes Avenue.

A neighbor heard multiple shots and looked out the window to see the victim. The witness also saw someone run off wearing a brown and orange hoody and light colored pants.

Investigators brought in metal detectors to search for missing casings, and canines to find extra evidence. Police are also knocking on doors, hoping for more information.
