Pedestrian struck, killed crossing I-70 near Oak Grove

OAK GROVE, MO (KCTV) -

A 30-year-old man walking across Interstate 70 died after he was hit by a car.

Jubar D. Jones, of Oak Grove, was killed about 12:50 a.m. west of Oak Grove.

A 69-year-old driver from Ashland, KY, was heading east on I-70 when he struck Jones, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
