Section of WB I-70 closed due to semi fire

OAK GROVE, MO (KCTV) -

A section of westbound Interstate 70 is closed Friday afternoon due to a semi fire.

The incident was reported just before 4 p.m. on I-70 at Oak Grove.

The Missouri Department of Transportation estimates it will take an hour to get the situation under control.

Officials recommend that commuters take an alternate route for the time being.
