It's one of the most important lessons students can learn.
Thursday, as part of National Fire Safety Week, kids at Merriam Park Elementary learned about surviving a fire. This year's Fire Safety Week theme, "Have 2 Ways Out," focuses on the importance of fire escape planning and practice.
