A cat weathered Vegas storms atop a telephone pole for more than 24 hours.
A FOX5 viewer said Thursday the cat had been on top of the pole, located at the intersection of Butterscotch Circle and Coke Street, for at least 24 hours.
NV Energy said they couldn't do anything to help, because the cat was on a telephone pole, not a power pole, a resident who lives near the pole told FOX5. The same person said Century Link was called, but won't respond to animal complaints.
Neighbors said police and fire officials were contacted, but that nobody ever came to help the cat.
Thursday afternoon, a neighbor with climbing gear scaled the telephone pole and rescued the feline, a viewer told FOX5.
