KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -
Two people are in serious condition after they were shot Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting occurred about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Miami Avenue and Pyle Street in KCK. Police said two teens were struck.
Authorities said two officers on foot patrol were walking through the neighborhood when they saw two teens laying in the middle of the road at that intersection. The male teens were taken to a local hospital with gunshot wounds - one was last listed in critical condition and the other in stable condition.
Officers proceeded to go through the neighborhood, trying to get as much information as possible from witnesses.
