I-70 near Crysler snarled after crash involving multiple vehicles

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Rush hour traffic east of the Truman Sports Complex is snarled after a multiple-vehicle crash.

The crash happened about 5:40 p.m. Monday on Interstate 70 eastbound near Crysler Avenue.

Two lanes of I-70 are closed. Motorists should avoid the area.

No word on injuries.

Chopper5 showed that at least one vehicle left the roadway and suffered significant damage.
