Motorcyclist seriously injured in overnight wreck

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

One person was seriously hurt in an early morning motorcycle crash.

Police responded to an accident near East 8th Street and Prospect Avenue about 1 a.m.

Officers said the driver of the motorcycle lost control of the bike before crashing.

The driver was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are thought to be life threatening.

The accident remains under investigation.
