CAMDEN COUNTY, MO (KCTV) -
The Lee's Summit woman accused of murdering her father is out of jail.
Susan Van Note was released from the Camden County Jail after posting a $1 million cash bond. Susan Van Note has pleaded not guilty to killing William Van Note.
He and his companion, Sharon Dickson, were shot at their lake home in Sunrise Beach in 2010. Prosecutors said Susan Van Note is also accused of forgery, gaining power of attorney over her father's healthcare matters – a power she allegedly used to deny her father life-sustaining care and get doctors to remove his life support at the hospital after the shooting.
