KC man accused of sexually attacking teen after she missed the bus

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A 24-year-old Kansas City man is accused of attacking a teenager after she missed the bus.

Christopher L. Spears is charged with raping a 15-year-old girl.

Court documents said the girl missed her bus back in February and was walking home. She told police spears grabbed her and dragged her to a nearby townhouse and raped her. Spears had been staying in the townhomes and court documents said lab reports confirmed semen collected from the girl belonged to Spears.

Spears is now in custody and prosecutors requested his bond be set at $250,000 cash.
