Nasty crash creates traffic tie ups on Interstate 435

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A crash involving four cars has slowed traffic on Kansas City's east side.

The crash happened just before 6 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 435 just south of Highway 210. This is near Front Street.

Ambulances were on the scene and extraction was needed.

Traffic is backed up for miles.
