Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday afternoon. A day later the victim was identified as 50-year-old Mark A. Campbell.
Officers were called to the area of 10th and Harrison streets about 2:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man in his 50s dead from apparent stab wounds in Margaret Kamp Park.
Police said they are looking for a stabbing suspect who is described as a black man in his early 30s. They said the man is approximately 6'1" in height, 180 pounds and was wearing a light blue backpack. He was last seen heading east on 10th Street.
While officials investigated the crime scene, roadways were blocked off and commuters were warned to find alternate routes.
Police said they have no suspects in custody.
