Police seek thief in Prairie Village gas station robbery

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS (KCTV) -

Police need help identifying a man who robbed a gas station.

Authorities said the man entered the Hy-Vee gas station, located at 7720 State Line Rd., about 3:30 p.m. Monday and pointed a black handgun at the clerk.

He then showed her a plastic bag and demanded the money, police said. He was seen leaving the store heading south on foot.

A witness said she saw the man enter the passenger side of a gray vehicle, possibly a Chevy Corsica, and leave the area.
