KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
Police are investigating a woman's death on the city's east side as a homicide.
The fatal shooting happened shortly before 1 a.m. Monday at an apartment in the 900 block of East Armour Boulevard, one block west of Troost Avenue.
Homicide detectives are focusing their attention on an apartment on the fourth floor of complex, after officers found the women, described to be in her early 20s, dead.
A witness said there were several people in the apartment before the shooting but did not see who shot the victim.
Authorities currently have no suspects in custody.
