Police recover rifles stolen from Bass Pro Shops in Olathe

OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -

Detectives have recovered five assault rifles that were stolen last month from the Bass Pro Shops.

Police have already arrested three men in connection with the Sept. 24 burglary.

Officers were dispatched about 12:20 a.m. to the Bass Pro Shops, located at 12051 South Renner Blvd., on a commercial burglary alarm and discovered a window smashed out on the store's east side.

The a K-9 unit with the Lenexa Police Department also responded to assist with a building search.

The three men, who are being called persons of interest, were later taken into custody with the assistance of the Shawnee Police Department.
