Train derailment in Olathe forces temporary road closures

OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -

A train derailment Friday night in Olathe forced temporary road closures while crews worked to clear the scene.

Authorities said the derailment happened about 9 p.m. A few railcars uncoupled, ran off the track and were dragged near the area of Dennis and Kansas avenues. No cars overturned.

Nobody was injured in the accident.
