Person struck, killed by train near 81st, Indiana

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

One person is dead after being struck by a train early Wednesday morning.

Police arrived on the scene shortly before 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of East 81st Street and Indiana Avenue.

Authorities are investigating whether the victim committed suicide.
