Man in custody after shots fired near officers

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A man is in police custody after allegedly firing shots Monday night.

Police responded to the 4600 block of Northeast Winn Road. They were told the man was suicidal and armed.

Officers heard shots fired. It wasn't immediately clear whether the man fired shots inside the home or at responding officers, who did not fire any shots. It is unknown at this time whether the man was targeting police.

No one was injured and the man was taken into custody.
