KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
Jazz fans are gearing up for the 2012 Rhythm and Ribs Jazz and Blues Festival in Kansas City.
The American Jazz Museum announced the headliners Wednesday for this year's festival Oct. 13.
Grammy nominated Artist Brian McKnight is the featured headliner, as well as blues artist Joe Louis Walker and Latin jazz artist Arturo Sandoval.
Local musicians Claire Daly and the McFadden Brothers as well also will be on the stage.
"There is no reason why this should be a secret anymore in Kansas City. We are very excited to continue the tradition on entertaining thousands if visitors with a diverse selection of exceptional national and local musical talent, outstanding Kansas City barbecue and activities for the family," said Greg Carroll, CEO of the American Jazz Museum.
General admission to the festival is $25, kids under 12 are free.
