KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

One person suffered minor injuries in an ATA bus crash Thursday afternoon.

The bus and another vehicle wrecked in the area of 12th Street and Jackson Avenue about 3:45 p.m.

One person on the bus was injured, but it's not believed to be serious.

A preliminary report said the bus was traveling northbound on Jackson and entered the intersection because the driver said they had a green light. The bus was struck by an Aarons Rent-to-Own truck. The driver told officials he had a yellow light at the time.

Police continue to investigate the wreck.
