Woman accused of child endangerment released on clerical error

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A woman accused of child endangerment is back behind bars after she was let out on a clerical error.

Michele L. Kraft, 28, turned herself in late Friday night.

Kraft was out of jail after posting bond due to a paperwork mistake. It listed her bond at $10,000 when it was supposed to be $100,000.

Kraft and her husband are accused of locking their 8-year-old niece in a room and not feeding her.

They pleaded not guilty.
