MIAMI COUNTY, KS (KCTV) -

The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating a report of cows falling out of a moving truck.

The accident happened about 7 a.m. Monday on Highway 68 near Plum Creek Road in Miami County, KS, in an area is south of Hillsdale Lake and west of Highway 169.

Troopers says the truck was heading west and was finally stopped on Hwy. 68 near Interstate 35.

The Kansas Department of Transportation was called to the scene to remove a few dead cows.
