KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

No charges will be filed in connection with the death of a groom at his bachelor party earlier this year.

Jim Roberts, a spokesman for Clay County Prosecutor's Office, said the investigation into Jacob Jarozewski's death is closed.

A bachelor party was held for Jarozewski inside a Northland home just two days before he would have turned 26. An altercation broke out just before 5 a.m. March 11. Authorities said Jarozewski was placed in a choke hold and died.

The Jackson County Medical Examiner's Office conducted the autopsy. Dan Ferguson, a spokesman for the office, said earlier this week that the cause of death was blunt force trauma to Jarozewski's head and neck.

Jarozewski and Alyx Aikmus were scheduled to get married on March 24.
