KANSAS AND MISSOURI (KCTV) -

Two separate overnight wrecks, one on the Kansas side and the other on the Missouri side, have left drivers injured.

A section of Interstate 35 was temporarily closed Saturday morning after the driver of a semi lost control and rolled the truck.

The wreck happened on I-35 near the I-635 interchange about 1:30 a.m.

The stretch of interstate re-opened several hours later.

A separate overnight wreck in Kansas City also injured one person early Saturday morning.

The wreck happened near the on-ramp to Interstate 470 from Missouri Highway 50. Police said the driver went the wrong way down Highway 50 before rolling the car several times down a ravine.

Authorities continue to investigate whether drugs or alcohol played a factor.
