Crash on I-435 injures 7

OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) -

Seven people were taken to area hospitals after a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.

The crash occurred before 4 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 435 near Quivera. Traffic is snarled and motorists are urged to avoid the area.

There's no immediate word on the condition of those injured.
