Man shot and killed near 38th and Brooklyn

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

One man is dead following a shooting in Kansas City, MO, Saturday night.

Police responded to a shooting call in the 3800 block of Brooklyn Avenue about 9:45 p.m. Saturday night.

Upon arrival, officers found a black man in his mid 30s that had been shot. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Witnesses said a black man shot the victim and fled the scene in a white SUV.
