Early morning wreck causes power outage to Westwood homes

WESTWOOD, KS (KCTV) -

People living in a cluster of 120 Westwood homes woke up Saturday morning without power because of an overnight wreck.

Police said a woman hit a utility pole near 51st and Rainbow Boulevard about 4 a.m. The woman suffered serious injuries.

Utility crews worked for a couple of hours to restore power after the wreck. Power was restored shortly after.
