Driver avoids being shot after road rage incident in KC

A man says he was met with a hail of gunfire all for honking at another driver.

Tad Hunter Jr. is charged with shooting at a driver who honked at him while he was sitting in his car at Highway 9 and Third Street.

Police say Hunter got out of his car and tried to open the victim's door. When he couldn't get it open, he drove off.

The victim followed him to write down his license plate, and that is when police say Hunter got out of his car and shot the other car several times.

The victim was not seriously hurt.
