Police investigate alleged kidnapping

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police are investigating a suspected kidnapping Saturday.

Officers were called to a home on Bales Drive, near 93rd Street just before 10:30 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived, they contacted a witness who told them that she and the victim had been standing in front of her apartment when a man approached them and took the victim and the victim's vehicle at gunpoint.

The witness said the suspect was accompanied by several unknown men.

At some point, the suspect let the victim go in the area and the victim walked to a nearby police station. The victim was then taken to the violent crimes unit.

Detectives are still investigating.
