Missing man found in hospital with possible heat-related illness

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A man Kansas City police had been looking several days for has been found in a local hospital.

Robert Pierce is said to be in critical condition, possibly from heat-related illnesses.

He was last seen Tuesday morning, walking in the 2300 block of Swope Parkway near Euclid Avenue.

Pierce suffers mental dementia, and his family was concerned for his safety.
