Officials arrest burglary suspect after chase

GRAIN VALLEY, MO (KCTV) -

Officials arrested a burglary suspect Wednesday after a chase that started in Independence, MO, and ended in Grain Valley, MO.

The chase traveled along Interstate 70 and ended about 3 p.m. after the suspect left his pickup truck and ran into a wooded area. Officials arrested him in the wooded area, not far from the Grain Valley High School.

Multiple agencies were involved in the chase, including Independence police, Grain Valley police and the Missouri Highway Patrol.
