KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A teen is suffering very minor injuries after her bike's brakes failed Tuesday afternoon and she ran into a stopped vehicle.

Police said the 15-year-old crested a hill on Southwest Boulevard near Genesee Street while on her bike and ran into a white truck stopped at railroad tracks.

It was previously reported that an officer in a patrol car struck a pedestrian in the exact same area. An officer was in front of the other vehicle as both waited at the railroad tracks, but the officer wasn't directly involved in the incident.
