Checkpoint nets 2 DUI arrests for KC police

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

An overnight DUI checkpoint in Kansas City added up to two arrests for police.

Police said they stopped 102 vehicles Saturday night during the five-hour checkpoint at Interstate 70 and Prospect Avenue. The eastbound traffic exiting to Prospect Ave. was checked.

Officers also issued one other traffic violation, two citations for driving with a suspended license, two arrests on Jackson County warrants, one arrest on a Grandview warrant and 12 on Kansas City warrants.
