Fire in kitchen damages Chinese restaurant in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Firefighters extinguished flames at a Chinese restaurant late Saturday night.

Flames broke out about 11 p.m. at China Feast, located near East 12th Street and Benton Boulevard.

The fire department believes the fire started in the kitchen.

No one was hurt, but about $60,000 worth of damage was done to the building.
