KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
Cleanup is under way at a Kansas City home after it was damaged during a fire.
Crews began getting calls about the fire near East 70th Terrace and Prospect Avenue about 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames in about a half hour.
Kansas City Fire Department spokesman Lew Hendricks said the fire originated in a bedroom of the one-story home, and the cause was intentional.
No one was injured in the fire that caused about $12,000 in damage.
