KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -
Officials are looking for two men who they said robbed the Bank Midwest on Rainbow Boulevard, just south of its intersection with Southwest Boulevard Friday.
A spokesperson with the FBI said about 9:05 a.m. two men walked into the bank. One jumped on the counter, announced the robbery and emptied the teller drawers.
The second robber held a weapon, a silver gun believed to be a revolver, and kept an eye on those in the lobby.
The robbers left the bank and were seen getting into a dark-colored, possibly black Chevy Tahoe driven by a woman and the three then drove off in a westbound direction. The Tahoe was believed to be a late 1990s model.
The first robber is described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s, 5'9" in height with a medium build. He wore a multi-colored shirt, jeans, Ray-Ban sunglasses and had dreadlocks pulled back into a ponytail.
The second robber is described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s, 6'0" in height with a heavy build. He wore a red baseball hat, a gray T-shirt and jean shorts. His also had a heavy, black beard.
