Police seek Casey's robbery suspect

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Kansas City Police are asking for the public's help to find the suspect who robbed a Casey's General Store in a northland neighborhood.

Police are seeking a suspect who robbed the Casey's at Missouri Highway 291 and Main Street Sunday about 10:50 p.m.

The suspect entered the store, and made a purchase like any other customer. About 15 minutes later, he returned. This time, he was wearing a red and gold stocking cap, sunglasses, and was armed with a shotgun. He demanded the employee to give him money from the register before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police have released two surveillance photos from the Casey's.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6" tall with a larger build. He appears to be in his early 30s and was wearing a black T-shirt, gray shorts, and black shoes.
