MISSION, KS (KCTV) -

One person was taken to the hospital after a car slammed into a tree.

The crash happened about 6 p.m. Saturday in the area of West 64th and Woodson streets.

Police said the car, which had three occupants, went off the road and struck a nearby tree.

Authorities have not said yet what caused the wreck or the condition of the person sent to the hospital.
