No injuries reported in early morning house fire

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Kansas City firefighters were in action overnight.

Flames broke out at an abandoned home near Independence and Prospect Avenue about 2 a.m.

Nobody was injured during the fire, but the home suffered heavy damage.

So far investigators aren't sure what sparked the flames.
