Section of I-29 closed in Holt County after 1 dies in crash

HOLT COUNTY, MO (KCTV) -

Southbound Interstate 29 will be closed for much of Friday afternoon after a tractor-trailer rig and a car collided, killing one.

The driver of the car died in the crash, which occurred about 10:30 a.m. The woman is from Omaha, NE.

Investigators are on the scene and expect the stretch will remain closed for hours. The driver of the rig is expected to be OK.

The crash is at mile marker 92 and just south of Craig, MO. Traffic is being rerouted onto Route 111.
