BATES CITY, MO (KCTV) -
Police are looking for a person with burn injuries to his face who is wanted for first-degree armed robbery, armed criminal action and tampering.
A warrant is now out for Jacob Charles Jons, 19.
Jons is 5'8" tall and weighs 140 pounds, has hazel eyes and brown hair.
His face was burned the night of the robbery and there still should be injury to his face. One photo released by police shows what Jons looked like after he was burned during the robbery. Police think he was burned while trying to destroy the vehicle he used during the robbery at a Valero gas station in Bates City, MO, on May 30.
His last known address was in Blue Springs, MO, but police said Jons also is known to be in the Grain Valley area.
If anyone sees Jons, they are advised to call 911 immediately and report his location and any vehicle he may be in.
