Police investigating after 2 stabbed near 43rd, Mersington

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Police are investigating a double stabbing during a disturbance on the city's east side.

A man and woman were stabbed about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday near East 43rd Street and Mersington Avenue.

Police found the man and woman both stabbed at the scene, and say there were other people inside the home at the time. The two are expected to survive.

So far there have been no arrests, and police say they don't have a description of any suspects.
