Man accused of killing local airman charged with murder

ANCHORAGE, AK (KCTV) -

The man accused of killing a local airman has been charged with murder.

James Thomas was indicted in the death of 24-year-old Senior Airman Clinton Reeves. Reeves, who was a 2007 Raytown High School alum, was last seen leaving his duty station at his Air Force base in Anchorage, AK, April 19.

Thomas served with Reeves.

Federal document said Thomas killed Reeves on April 19 and tried to destroy the evidence. He is being held on $100,000 bail and is set to appear in an Alaskan courtroom Tuesday.
