Trailer overturns, horses stranded on I-435

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

Four horses were stranded in the median after their trailer overturned Thursday morning.

The accident happened about 9 a.m. along southbound Interstate 435 at 63rd Street, in Kansas City, MO.

No lanes of I-435 in either direction were blocked by the accident.

Police and those in the pickup held onto the horses until new transportation could arrive. No one was injured. However, it was not immediately clear if any of the horses were hurt.
