BELTON, MO (KCTV) -
Police are investigating the suspicious death of a father.
Authorities found the body in a duplex Tuesday night on West Chestnut in Belton, MO. Police got a call that a man who had been missing might be in the house.
A woman identified the man they found inside as her ex-husband Jacob Myers. She says he is the father of three young girls.
"My heart goes out to his kids not having a father anymore. It is a hard thing to grow up without a father," said Amanda Myers.
Police haven't confirmed the man's identify, and they are still trying to determine the cause of death.
