Child ejected from car near I-70

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A child was thrown from a car after a crash near Interstate 70.

The crash happened about 9:15 am. Tuesday near Truman Road and Benton Boulevard.

Police said the child only suffered minor injuries, but was taken to Children's Mercy Hospital as a precaution.
