Woman recovering after being badly beaten

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A woman is recovering from serious injuries after being badly beaten.

Kansas City, MO, police were called to East 46th Street and South Benton Avenue about 8:45 p.m. Monday on a call of a shooting. But when they arrived, they found a woman beaten, not shot.

Police are not saying whether they made any arrests.
