Police investigating deadly shooting in Independence

INDEPENDENCE, MO (KCTV) -

Police are investigating after a deadly shooting in Independence.

Officers found a man dead shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday inside a duplex in the 600 block of Zaun Avenue.

Investigators are still trying to contact the family of the man killed, and have not released his name.

Police say they aren't looking for any suspects, but they won't say whether any arrests have been made.

No additional details were released.
